Tom Dunn
Tom Dunn is a young Australian Adventurer/Advocate. At just 24 years old Tom has already raised over $100,000 for charity through his ultra endurance adventures. By pushing himself to surpass his own and others’ expectations, Tom has realised that “Anyone can do anything, if given the opportunity”.
AUSTRALIA’S LONGEST TRIATHLON
Tom’s latest attempt to set a new Guinness World Records for the world’s longest triathlon by travelling 9000 kilometres across Australia has been temporarily postponed (due to the current pandemic), but when he gets the opportunity Tom will start his journey at the most western point of mainland Australia – Steep Point, WA – and finish at the most eastern point – Byron Bay, NSW.
Along the way, he will cycle 7000km to Yarrawonga, swim 280km along the Murray River to Echuca and finish with a 1720km run.
In 2018 Tom completed a 4,973km quadrathlon – swimming, running, cycling and kayaking – from Cape York, QLD to Wilsons Promontory, VIC and he did the entire journey in a single pair of WW socks (click here to see which ones he wore)!
We are so proud to have Tom as a Wilderness Wear Brand Ambassador and look forward to partnering with him on this next adventure.
